The U.S. is one of the few nations that allows the death penalty for juveniles. Recently, three Supreme Court justices suggested that capital punishment of minors should be abolished. Nobody should be executed for a mistake they made as a child.

The most heinous crimes should result in the strongest punishment. While executions for crimes committed by those 15 and younger are unconstitutional, states are within their rights to impose the death penalty for crimes committed by 16 and 17-year-olds.
