From the desk of Dick Morris Dear Reader: Some remarkable news. We raised more than $3 million this weekend to defeat Nancy Pelosi and 100 of her favorite Democrats! Just two weeks ago, I announced my support for Super PAC for America. At that time, I revealed that we could defeat not just the 39 Democrats needed for the GOP to wrestle control of the House from Nancy Pelosi's San Francisco Democrats, but that we actually could defeat 100 of them! I argued that, if we did this, we could create a political earthquake that would shake the very foundations of establishment Washington, Manhattan, and Hollywood. The liberal elites would be shattered! At the time, I was ridiculed for even suggesting that 100 Democrats are at risk. Now, even my liberal adversaries agree: 100 Democrats could be defeated! Super PAC for America is doing something no other political group is doing: We are focusing our resources and money on the "second 50" Democrats who are vulnerable. What this means is that the GOP is not sure about beating those 50 Democrats, so almost all of the GOP money has flowed into those 50 races. Our goal is to defeat the second tier of 50 Democrats -- giving us 100 seats. My analysis of polling data shows that Democrats in this second group are extremely vulnerable -- the only problem is that most of their GOP challengers simply don't have the cash to get their message out. That's where Super PAC for America comes in. We are providing tactical air support, swooping into these districts with a bombardment of TV ads exposing these Democratic members of Congress for their pro-Obama, pro-Pelosi stances.
