Cancer & AIDS patients need it for nausea, pain & wasting |

Any legalization of pot will increase drug abuse and lead youngsters astray |
|||||||||
| Marijuana can help ease unnecessary suffering The most recent objective review of the medical value of pot, by the Institute of Medicine, found that marijuana helps cancer and AIDS patients overcome intense nausea, the severe bone pain of cancer, and the wasting of AIDS and advanced cancer patients. For 20 percent of patients, legal medicines do not help their nausea, and withholding pot is inhumane and cruel. Furthermore, the feds should respect states’ rights and the voters who have decreed, by referendum, that pot should be legal. |
