This effort to legalize marijuana for medical purposes is a sham that hides the advocates' real agenda to legalize pot for everyone. The feds are right to close down so-called buyer’s clubs that sell pot to people who claim to be ill, but could be helped—if they really are sick—by medicines that are legal and effective for nausea and other conditions that pot proponents whine about. Legalizing marijuana for any purpose sets a bad example and encourages our youth to go down the road toward drug abuse.
