Dell is struggling to deliver some of its top PC and notebook models in time for the holidays and many customers will not receive their purchases until after the New Year. Some customers who ordered in November are still waiting for their computers.

Dell's shipment delays are basically confined to two high-end models and do not affect the rest of their inventory. The shortage was due to supply problems with CD-RW drives and graphics cards. Refunds would lead to higher prices in the future.
