Australia must do its part to stop terrorism

Many Australians died in the September 11 attacks. The military needs to be involved. Australia's elite SAS, air refuelling, maritime surveillance aircraft and the frigate HMAS Anzac in the Persian Gulf can assist in the campaign.

Mr Howard said there is a possibility of Australian casualties once our men are involved. Police have also warned that this would increase Australia's profile as a terrorist target. Australia should not support a campaign that will lead to more deaths.
