The Prime Minister should not have inflamed the debate about asylum-seekers by linking it to the attacks on the U.S. Making such comments just days before an election is selfish and irresponsible.
 

Mr Howard simply told The Courier-Mail in Brisbane: "You don't know who's coming and you don't know whether they do have terrorist links or not - I just don't know but I think a country has got a perfect right to try [to] find out."
