The State Department is slowing the process for granting visas to young men from Arab and Muslim nations in an effort to prevent terrorist attacks. Instead of creating a backlog, it would be safer to simply stop issuing such visas for the time being.

 		 We're supposed to be fighting terrorism, not Islam. Profiling by religion or nationality would be antithetical to American values. It would keep thousands of innocent people out of the country while not necessarily preventing future terrorist attacks.
