They waited too long! Any plan would take months to implement, and we may have already made it through the worst of the recession already. Many economists say that if Congress were to improve the situation, they would have needed to act months ago.

 		 It would be dangerous to give up now. Tax cuts, business incentives and aid to those who have been laid off are not only important during the darkest days of a recession. They're also needed to help keep the economy on the right track as it recovers.
