YES
Who better to write the theme for the Athens games than Greek songwriter Georgios Kyriacos Panayiotou, a.k.a. George Michael?
NO
He's been under fire for his political song, "Shoot The Dog." It would be better to choose a songwriter who isn't surrounded with so much controversy and who hasn't been arrested for lewd behavior

It's been rumored that controversial gay singer George Michael has been chosen to write the theme song for the Olympic games in 2004. If that is indeed the case, they couldn't have chosen a more appropriate or talented songwriter. Michael will do fine.

We'll send your vote to George Michael and the United States Olympic Committee.

The controversy surrounding songwriter and performer George Michael will take away from the grandeur of the 2004 Olympic theme song. It would be better if the International Olympic Committee chose an appropriate role model for the world's children.
