As BBC News reports, "Calls for an inquiry into the nature of newspaper reports following the deaths of Jessica Chapman and Holly Wells are growing." Some of the articles could prevent a fair trial of Ian Huntley and his girlfriend, Maxine Carr.

The trial will not take place for several months. By that time, the memory of the coverage will have dissipated and the media will be reporting the case differently. There is no need to fear that any media reports have prejudiced any future case.
