Los Angeles school district officials have officially banned soda from schools, making them the second district to do so this year. In order to promote good health, all California schools should ban soda and candy from schools.

 		 Variety is a good thing. The state shouldn't send the message of distrust to students by simply taking away their choices. Better education on health and nutrition are needed to combat a sweet tooth. Millions of dollars in extra revenue will be lost.
