Some universities have expanded student health plans to cover birth control pills and other prescription contraceptives. It is only fair that they cover contraceptives if they already cover illness-prevention drugs for both male and female students.

This is not legally mandated and college administrators are only kowtowing to student demands. The overall intent of health plans is to provide coverage against major medical emergencies, not to promote undesirable and immoral attitudes toward sex.
