Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Billy Tauzin says that evidence, including e-mails, casts doubt on Stewart's story. Lawmakers say she "may have been tracking some news about ImClone beyond the share price." That's insider trading, which is illegal.

We'll send your vote to Justice Department, which has been asked to investigate the matter by the House Energy and Commerce Committee, and also to Martha Stewart.

 
Stewart has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing. Long before she sold nearly 4,000 of her ImClone shares on Dec. 27, she had told her broker to sell the shares if the price dropped below $60. Lawmakers are targeting her for the publicity her name generates.
