Casino gambling is illegal but many Indian tribes are trying to change that so they can build casinos in southern Maine. The extra jobs and revenue that would be generated if casino gambling were legalized are persuasive arguments.

There are many good reasons why casino gambling is illegal in Maine. An increase in crime and addictive behavior are just a few extra problems that are sure to pop up if gambling were legalized. We shouldn't promote degenerate behavior to pay our bills.
