Rev. Jackson was quite offended by some of the movie's jokes because they insulted civil rights pioneers like Martin Luther King Jr. and Rosa Parks. In light of the sensitive subject matter, the jokes should be kept out of future prints and DVDs.

Jackson's request promotes censorship. If producers were to edit these jokes out of "Barbershop" it would set a dangerous precedent. Who's to determine just what is "offensive?" Filmmakers can't change their artistic vision every time someone complains.
