Candidate Sonny Perdue says gays sometimes make better parents than heterosexuals yet he opposes allowing gays to adopt children. Common sense says he's trying to play both sides of the gay rights issue. It's not going to work.

 		 It doesn't make a person a hypocrite to believe that in some instances gay couples make better parents than heterosexual couples, while opposing the right for gays to adopt. Perdue is standing by his party's beliefs, not playing both sides of the issue.
