Should Arab-Americans be allowed to sue airlines for post-9/11 discrimination?
Polls Have Closed

YES
Airlines may have the right to remove passengers who pose a security threat, but that doesn't give them license to discriminate
NO
The airlines must be cut a little slack. They must be given the benefit of the doubt that they're doing the best they can to improve security

A judge ruled that Arab-Americans who were discriminated against after the Sept. 11 terror attacks have a right to sue the airlines. Everyone understands that airlines must do their best to keep all passengers safe, but that doesn't excuse discrimination.

Discrimination is wrong, but airlines must be cut some slack because they were doing what they felt was right to keep passengers and all of America safe from terror attacks. If lawyers begin chipping away at airlines, the carriers will go bankrupt.
