Underage drinking is against the law and is reaching epidemic proportions. We need to expand criminal responsibility and make it clear to parents and their children that this type of drinking is not a rite of passage that every child is entitled to.

 		 Let's be realistic - it is all but impossible to prove that the adults were negligent and/or that they directly supplied the alcohol to minors. Only the person who decides to drink should be held legally and morally responsible for his or her actions.
