Emotional problems are just as serious as physical problems, and sometimes worse. A majority of those in trouble require attention during non-business hours. It is essential that in the event of an emergency, someone is there for students at all times.

A majority of emotional problems can be treated during normal business hours. Any emergencies can be addressed at the emergency room. There's no need to keep unnecessary facilities open all night. The costs would be far too high.
