The Securities and Exchange Commission has informed lawyers representing Martha Stewart that they are planning to bring civil charges against her and are awaiting a response. There was clearly some wrongdoing on her part. A punishment is in order.

The SEC has been gunning for Stewart since day one and has gone too far to find evidence of wrongdoing. From the beginning, her story has remained the same: she had a standing order to sell the stock once it dropped below a certain price. She's innocent.
