Mexican immigrant workers are willing to do hard work which keeps our economy running; therefore, they deserve to be granted legal status. The U.S. and Mexican partnership is an important one. Bush should cut our southern neighbor some slack.

 		 Since undocumented Mexican immigrant workers are only here for a short period of time they should not be granted legal status. An alternative for these workers is a temporary visa, which will allow them to be in our country while they are working.
