A French woman, upset over the stringent security measures at Evansville Regional Airport, angrily removed her sweater and bra after a security guard used a metal detector wand to search her. An outrageous outburst like that mandates a tough response.

Tougher guidelines and laws governing traveler behavior at airports are necessary, but should not come at the expense of common sense. The woman involved in the incident went overboard, but so did security guards. A felony charge would be very excessive.
