Health officials say they're going to try their best to make certain all blood supplies are tested for West Nile virus by the end of next summer, but that's just not good enough. There must be a guarantee that the public will be safe from infection.

 		 Since it was discovered that West Nile virus was spreading and that our nation's blood supply could be at risk, health officials have promised to work as fast as possible to test all blood supplies. There's really nothing more that can be expected.
